Good nutrition is the foundation of health from both the eastern and western medical point of view. In fact, good nutrition has been linked to a reduction in cholesterol, obesity, bone and joint pain, heart problems, cancer and type II diabetes. In addition, many more common health complaints such as fatigue, headache and stomach upset can be relieved with proper dietary modification.
Transitions is a very successful, nationally recognized lifestyle and weight management program. In this 12 week course you will learn how to eat a low glycemic diet and loose weight and inches without counting points or calories or cutting out whole food groups.
Support materials include DVD's, a daily journal, a glycemic index food guide, weekly class and coaching sessions, tips for stress management and behavior modification, support for developing a personalized exercise program, and nutritional supplements.
Previous class participants have noticed increased energy levels, fewer naps, relief from digestive problems and reduced caffeine dependence as well as more notches on the belt buckle and to our delight...teenagers and other family members happily participating.
